Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) sat out in Week 17 due to a shoulder injury that has lingered throughout the season.
While Lamb will not require surgery, the Cowboys are leaning on the side of caution with their franchise player, especially being out of playoff contention.
So will Lamb play again in 2024 or is he out for the year?

Is CeeDee Lamb Out For The Season?
According to the team, the star wideout was placed on injured reserve on Saturday which effectively ends his season.
The @dallascowboys added TE Princeton Fant (calf) to the injury report following the team’s practice on Saturday, and his status for the game is questionable. The club also made the following transactions:

While Lamb will not play again in 2024, seeing that he does require surgery on his AC joint, suggests he should be a full-go in time for Training Camp in 2025.
The Oklahoma product will finish his fifth NFL season with 101 receptions, 1,194 yards, and six touchdowns. He added 70 rushing yards on 14 attempts.
Over his past three games, Lamb has begun to form a strong connection with backup QB Cooper Rush as he averaged an impressive 21.8 PPR points per game over this span. Through 15 total games, he averaged 17.6 PPR points per game.
This past weekend, veteran Brandin Cooks led the passing attack with Jalen Tolbert moving up to the No.2 spot. Fantasy managers and DFS players should expect most of the targets to go to Cooks and Tolbert in their final game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
Cooks is a sneaky play next week as he saw eight targets in Week 17 and should produce a high-floor given he stands alone as the top pass catcher in the offense.
