Former Tennessee wide receiver Cedric Tillman dealt with injuries during his final collegiate season, but he was productive when healthy, and his 2021 campaign cemented his status as a day-two pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
He joins a wide receiver room consisting of Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore, and Donovan Peoples-Jones with Deshaun Watson at quarterback. This could be an emerging offense, so he might have a chance for some immediate fantasy football impact.
Is Tillman a good fit for the Browns and what can we expect from him as a rookie in fantasy football? Let's dive in.

What Did Cedric Tillman Accomplish At Tennessee?
Tillman had a quiet start to his college career, catching just eight passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns through his first three seasons. He was behind NFL receivers Jauan Jennings, Marquez Callaway, and Joshua Palmer in a dormant Tennessee offense under head coach Jeremy Pruitt.
When new head coach Josh Heupel arrived on Rocky Top, Tillman would see a dramatic increase in production. In his first senior year (2021), Tillman caught 64 passes for 1,081 yards and 12 touchdowns. He posted 200 yards against the elite Georgia defense of 2021 and rose draft board quickly. However, he decided to come back for another year.
He got out to a hot start in 2022 -- catching 15 passes for 230 yards and a touchdown through his first two games. He suffered an ankle injury in Week 3 against Akron and missed Tennessee's contests against Florida, Alabama, LSU, and Tennessee Martin. Overall, he caught 37 passes for 417 yards and three touchdowns.
The 23-year-old isn't one of the younger prospects in this year's class, but that could mean he could be ready to play right away.
Is Cedric Tillman A Good Fit For The Browns?
Tillman likely won't become the Browns' No. 1 wide receiver, but he could play alongside Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore as the team's primary X wideout. He'll have to beat out Donovan Peoples-Jones -- but given his draft capital, he should have a chance to do so.
If Deshaun Watson knocks off the rust and returns to form, Tillman could have a nice role as a premier red zone target and contested catch receiver. The volume slot and flanker receivers are taking over fantasy football and Tillman will have a tough time being a target hot, but if things go right, he could have WR4 or WR5 upside as a rookie.
