Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Bryce Young was selected No. 1 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft for a reason. The Panthers organization believes he is a franchise-changing asset. He has struggled so far, but that is expected with rookie QBs.
However, the youthful signal-caller is already dealing with an injury just two weeks into his NFL career, meaning his Week 3 availability could be in question.
Is Young injured or healthy? What's his fantasy outlook in Week 3? Let's dive in.

Bryce Young Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Bryce Young (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday because of an ankle injury. The 5'10" gunslinger has been sacked six times in two games to begin his NFL career and is already feeling the bumps and bruises.
The 22-year-old has thrown for just 299 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions so far and is averaging a putrid 4.2 yards per attempt. Hopefully, he won't miss time moving forward and can continue to improve.
His status for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks is uncertain as of now.
Bryce Young Fantasy Football Outlook
While Young could become a stud fantasy quarterback at some point in his career, it's unlikely to happen during his rookie campaign. Not only is the Alabama product facing a learning curve in adjusting to the NFL, but he has one of the worst supporting casts in the league.
A pass-catching group of Adam Thielen, D.J. Chark, Jonathan Mingo, Hayden Hurst, Terrace Marshall Jr., and Laviska Shenault Jr. does not give us confidence that Young will see more than one or two spike weeks during the 2023 campaign.
He's a fun dynasty asset and will inevitably be in starting lineups in superflex and two-QB leagues, but even if he's active in Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks, he should be nowhere near the fantasy radar in single-QB formats.
