The Miami Dolphins have arguably the best wide receiver duo in the NFL. Tyreek Hill has been one of the top wide receivers over the past several years. Meanwhile, Jaylen Waddle has been the best wide receiver from the 2021 NFL Draft class, not named Ja’Marr Chase.
However, the depth behind the two superstars is underwhelming at best. The Dolphins signed Braxton Berrios and Chosen Anderson in free agency. Ironically, these two played together for the New York Jets in 2019.
While the two veterans have a combined 11 years of NFL experience, will either player have fantasy value this season?

What Did Braxton Berrios And Chosen Anderson Accomplish Last Year?
Berrios has spent his entire four-year career with the Jets. He was a sixth-round pick by the New England Patriots in the 2018 NFL Draft. However, he didn’t play until the 2019 season. While the former Miami Hurricane has never been a consistent fantasy player, Berrios did have some positive moments during his four years in New York.
Unfortunately, he didn’t make any fantasy impact last year despite the Jets’ lacking consistent pass catchers. Berrios had 18 receptions on 32 targets for 145 receiving yards and no touchdowns. However, the veteran wide receiver did have nine rushing attempts for 91 yards and two touchdowns last year. It was the second consecutive season that Berrios had two rushing touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Anderson was an undrafted free agent in 2016. He signed with the Jets and had a solid rookie season. After four years in New York, the former Temple wide receiver joined the Carolina Panthers. Last year Anderson started the season in Carolina. He had 13 receptions on 27 targets for 206 receiving yards and a touchdown in six games.
However, the Panthers traded the veteran to the Arizona Cardinals during the season. Unfortunately, the veteran struggled in Arizona, totaling only seven receptions on 17 targets for 76 receiving yards in 10 contests.
Is Braxton Berrios Or Chosen Anderson The Dolphins WR3?
While Berrios and Anderson joined the Dolphins this offseason, don’t forget about Cedrick Wilson. The former Dallas Cowboy signed a multi-year contract with Miami last offseason. Furthermore, many considered him a sleeper candidate before the team traded for Hill.
Unless Hill or Waddle miss significant time with an injury, neither Berrios nor Anderson has any fantasy value this year. Furthermore, both veteran wide receivers belong on the waiver wire in all dynasty leagues.
