The Indianapolis Colts drafted quarterback Anthony Richardson with the fourth overall pick. They directly made him their starting quarterback, and the 21-year-old player has played quite well.
However, in both of his starts, the rookie hasn't finished the game. In Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he suffered a knee bruise, while in Week 2 against the Houston Texans, Richardson had to leave the game due to a concussion.
Is he now healthy or out for a significant time due to the concussion he suffered against the Texans? Let's take a look at it.

Will Anthony Richardson Play In Week 3?
Anthony Richardson has been placed in the concussion protocol, and his status for Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens is uncertain.
After Richardson left the game, Gardner Minshew replaced him and led the team to a comfortable 31-20 win over their division rivals. It is possible that the Colts do not rush their rookie quarterback, resulting in him missing Week 3.
So far, Richardson has arguably played the best among rookie quarterbacks, and the Colts fans are very excited about him. Hopefully, the franchise will make the right decision for the long-term future of the Florida product.
Anthony Richardson Fantasy Outlook
In two games so far, Richardson has thrown for 279 yards, a touchdown, and an interception with a passing rate of 78.2. He has also rushed for 75 yards on 13 carries for two rushing touchdowns, averaging 5.8 yards per carry.
In Week 2, he scored 17.7 points in the PPR league and would have accounted for much more had he played the entire game. So far in two weeks, Richardson is ranked in 8th place among the quarterbacks when it comes to total points recorded in PPR leagues. The more games he plays, he will get more comfortable and is likely to become a star in this league.
Richardson will be a solid option for your fantasy football teams going forward, but given his status is uncertain for Week 3, the managers should prepare for other alternatives.
