Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is one of the biggest boom-or-bust players in fantasy football. The second-year quarterback can have week-winning performances.
Yet, he can also have awful fantasy performances. After totaling 26.1 fantasy points in Week 1, Richardson has scored 20.2 total fantasy points over the past three weeks.
Unfortunately, the young quarterback has struggled to stay healthy in his career, playing only four games as a rookie. More importantly, he left yesterday’s 27-24 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers with an injury.

Is Anthony Richardson Hurt Or Healthy?
Richardson suffered a hip pointer in Week 4. The second-year star left the game with the injury but quickly returned. Unfortunately, the coaching staff called a quarterback run on his first play back in the game, leading to Richardson further injuring his hip.
The former Florida star told the media Sunday’s game that he was sore but feeling good. It’s too early to know if Richardson can play in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, it sounds like he avoided a significant injury and shouldn’t miss much, if any, time.

Waiver Wire Replacement Options For Anthony Richardson
Hopefully, Richardson plays in Week 5 because he has an outstanding matchup against the Jaguars. However, fantasy players should have a backup option on their roster.
Justin Fields is rostered in only 32% of Yahoo leagues. The veteran had an excellent fantasy performance in Week 4, totaling 312 passing yards, 55 rushing yards, three total touchdowns, and 32 fantasy points against the Colts.

The former Ohio State star has had two passing touchdowns, three rushing scores, and 50.4 fantasy points over the past two weeks. More importantly, Fields has an appealing matchup in Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Dallas has surrendered 21.5 or more fantasy points to quarterbacks in two of their past three games. Furthermore, they will be without Micah Parsons (ankle) and DeMarcus Lawrence (foot) for Sunday night’s matchup against Fields and the Steelers.
