New Buffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper (wrist) appears to have injected new life into the Bills offense since joining the team two weeks ago. They look much better overall and have scored 34 and 31 points in the two games he's played for them now. That's a definite improvement.
He's still playing at a high level and helps open up the offense much more. Buffalo didn't have any great options at the X position in their WR corps previously, but the former Cowboys player definitely changed that. Unfortunately, Cooper has been on the injury report in recent days.
So, is he hurt or healthy, and will he start for the Bills in Week 9?

Is Amari Cooper Injured or Playing in Week 9?
He's dealing with a wrist issue and has practiced in a limited capacity all week. He's considered a game-time decision, meaning fantasy managers will need to stay updated on the situation. The final list of active players is due 90 minutes before kickoff at the latest -- we may not have perfect clarity until then.

It's good to see him practicing at least. The exact severity of his injury hasn't been explained by Buffalo's coaching staff.
Amari Cooper Fantasy Football Injury Outlook
Luckily, the Bills play in the early game window (kickoff is at 1:00 PM ET), meaning fantasy managers will have a good chance of finding a suitable replacement in their lineups if Cooper can't go. The former Cleveland Brown scored 16.6 PPR fantasy points in Week 7 but just 1.3 in Week 8.

This could be one of those situations where the ball still gets spread around too much for some of the receivers to always be consistent. It looks like slot WR Khalil Shakir may continue to lead the team in targets, as he had the ball thrown his way 10 times last week as opposed to Cooper's two targets.
The injury could mean Cooper plays on a snap count or even has a dreaded decoy game, where he simply runs routes to draw off coverage. He's still a fine start, but there's plenty of risk.
