Amari Cooper Injury News
Cooper is dealing with a hip injury. The issue is related to an overarching core muscle injury that he has played through for several weeks. As a result, the 29-year-old missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to a limited participant on Friday.
Is Amari Cooper Injured or Playing in Week 17?
The Browns' final report lists just one player with an injury designation, and it's not Cooper. He has been cleared to play against the Commanders.
Cooper has looked solid in his first season with the Browns, catching 73 passes for 1,004 yards and seven touchdowns. While he didn't form an immediate rapport with Deshaun Watson, the two showed solid progress last week, linking up for six catches and 72 yards.
Cooper remains the Browns' clear No. 1 receiver and should be viewed as a high-end WR3 in fantasy football this week.
