Amari Cooper Injury Updates for Fantasy Football
UPDATE 1/4: Cooper did not practice on Wednesday
UPDATE 1/5: Cooper practiced on a limited basis on Thursday
Amari Cooper Injury News
Cooper's hip issues first popped up ahead of his team's Week 14 showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals. Since suffering the injury, he has not been able to log a full practice session in any of the corresponding weeks. While it hasn't cost him any playing time, it is worth monitoring Cooper's status as he heads into the final game of the regular season.
Cooper has seen his performance dip since first getting listed on the injury report four games ago, catching just 15 passes for 277 yards and two touchdowns over that span. Overall, Cooper has played on 82.6% of the team's offensive snaps this season but that number is also down to 78.1% over his past four contests.
That being said, Cooper could be starting to feel better as his inclusion on the Week 18 injury report indicates "not injury related-rest".

Is Amari Cooper Injured or Playing in Week 18?
At this point, it doesn't appear that Cooper has suffered a setback while playing through his hip injury over the past four games. It is likely that the team is limiting his practice reps and giving him time to rest to allow him to gear up to play on Sunday.
The Browns have nothing left to play for, but Cooper is just 80 receiving yards shy of breaking his career-high, which was set back in 2019 as a member of the Dallas Cowboys. As you can hear Cooper state below, that is an important milestone for Cooper and leads one to believe that he will play this weekend.

Fantasy gamers holding a Week 18 championship will want to monitor the Browns' practice report on Friday to make sure Cooper isn't downgraded but it appears that he is not in danger of missing the season finale against Pittsburgh.
If Cooper's hip flares up or the Browns decide that they don't want to risk further injury to their No. 1 receiver and he is surprisingly inactive in Week 18, there are lots of waiver wire options available, all of which are outlined here in our RotoBaller Waiver Wire Pickups List.
