Is Amari Cooper Hurt Or Healthy?
The 2022 season has been better than perhaps anyone expected for Amari Cooper. Traded to the Browns by the Dallas Cowboys, the veteran has continued to produce at a high level. Cooper has totaled 874 receiving yards and seven TDs this season, despite playing the majority of the year with Jacoby Brissett at the helm of Cleveland's offense.
The 28-year-old popped up on Cleveland's injury report prior to their Week 14 game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a hip issue. Though Cooper did suit up against the Bengals, he logged just two receptions for 42 yards.
There was continued concern about his availability for this week's Saturday date with the Baltimore Ravens. After being listed as a DNP for Tuesday and Wednesday's practices, Cooper returned to practice on Thursday. Browns' HC Kevin Stefanski said Thursday that the star WR was "going to go" against Baltimore. Cooper enters the weekend with no official injury designation.
Amari Cooper Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 15
Despite being unable to practice earlier in the week, it appears that Cooper is set to suit up against the Ravens on Saturday.
While the veteran receiver appears set to play in Week 15, there are some challenges for his fantasy managers, as his health level is still uncertain. Cooper is most likely just trying to tough it out and play through his hip issue, but we have no way of knowing how effective he will be against the Ravens.
