New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has been one of the biggest fantasy football draft bargains this season. He was a mid-round pick in most drafts. Yet, the veteran running back has been outstanding.
Kamara is the RB2 this season, averaging 25.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Saquon Barkley (26.5) is the only running back averaging more fantasy points per game than Kamara.
Unfortunately, the star running back showed up on Wednesday’s injury report and missed practice. Will Kamara play in Week 4?

Is Alvin Kamara Playing This Week?
UPDATE: Kamara is ACTIVE for Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons
The veteran running back has taken a beating over the first three weeks, totaling at least 20 touches in every game, including a season-high 29 in Week 3. Kamara didn’t practice on Wednesday because of hip and rib injuries. Thankfully, the injuries seem minor, as he returned to practice on Thursday.
Kamara was a limited participant in practice today. He likely won’t be a full participant in practice on Friday, but that shouldn’t worry fantasy players. The veteran doesn’t need the practice reps and should be ready to play Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons in a critical NFC South matchup.

Alvin Kamara Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook
While he is dealing with a few minor injuries, fantasy players should go ahead and lock Kamara into their RB1 spot. He has scored at least 14.2 fantasy points in every game this year, including 19.5 or more in the first two contests. Furthermore, the veteran running back has five touchdowns in the first three games, with four coming in a blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2.
