Is Alvin Kamara Injured or Playing In Week 15? Should I Start Kendre Miller For Fantasy Football?

The fantasy football playoffs are here and managers are counting on their early-round studs to help them advance to the next round.

But some managers are biting their fingernails right now while waiting for an update on Alvin Kamara's status for Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Kamara had missed two straight days of practice with an illness, so his status was very much in doubt for Sunday. Can managers rely on him if he plays or will he be limited after missing so much practice? And do the Saints even have anything to play for this week? Let's attempt to answer those questions!

Is Alvin Kamara Playing In Week 15?

Kamara needed to log at least one practice this week to be trending in the right direction. The good news for fantasy managers is that Kamara practiced without limitations on Friday and is probably to play on Sunday.

Kamara now carries no injury designation and managers should plan on using Kamara in their lineups on Sunday. While Kendre Miller may have earned some touches, Kamara should continue to dominate the snaps and backfield touches for now.

Should I Start Kendre Miller for Fantasy Football Week 15?

Miller handled ten carries last week and scored the only rushing touchdown for the Saints. Those ten carries were a season-high for him and with with Dennis Allen no longer standing in his way, it might be time for the Saints to see what Miller has in the tank.

UPDATE: Now that Kamara has been ruled in for Sunday's game, Miller is not useable in standard leagues. It's highly unlikely that he gets enough touches to score double-digit fantasy points, even if he has carved out a small role spelling Kamara.
