Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard has been dealing with an ankle injury since he got it stepped on in practice before Week 1.
The injury kept Lazard out of Week 1's loss to the Minnesota Vikings but he has been able to suit up in Weeks 2 and 3, combining for six catches for 58 yards and two touchdowns.
Despite playing in the past two games, Lazard's continual inclusion on the injured list may give his fantasy managers a reason for concern about his availability heading into a Week 4 home showdown against the New England Patriots. Will Lazard be active? Let's dive in and take a look.

Allen Lazard Injury Updates for Fantasy Football
Update: Lazard got in limited practices on Wednesday, September 28 and Thursday, September 29.
Allen Lazard Injury News
Lazard did not practice leading up to Week 1 and was listed as doubtful before ultimately not playing in the season opener. He was able to return ahead of Week 2, getting in limited sessions on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
He followed a similar pattern ahead of Week 3 but took Thursday off, most likely in the interest of limiting his reps.
Heading into Week 4, Lazard has practiced on a limited basis on both Wednesday and Thursday yet again as Green Bay prepares to take on the Patriots at Lambeau Field. Lazard has been popular with Aaron Rodgers in the red zone, catching a touchdown in each of his two games while ranking second on the team with three red-zone targets.

Is Allen Lazard Injured or Playing in Week 4?
Barring an unexpected downgrade on Friday, it looks like Lazard will be taking the field in Week 4. Over the past two weeks, the veteran has been practicing on a limited basis throughout the week before ultimately suiting up on Sunday.
#Packers head coach Matt LaFleur & GM Brian Gutekunst were at today's practice. LT David Bakhtiari was not. CB Jaire Alexander (groin) did NOT participate. Neither did TE Marcedes Lewis (groin). WR Christian Watson (knee) had FULL participation. WR Allen Lazard (ankle) limited. pic.twitter.com/f4IB97gmDC

In following that pattern, it appears that Lazard will be available for fantasy managers as a solid flex option for their showdown against a Patriots defense that has been stingy to opposing fantasy wideouts through three games.
On the year, Lazard is fifth on the team with nine targets, good for a 9.68% target share. He very well could be second on the team in targets had he not missed Week 1. He may continue to find himself behind rookie Romeo Doubs in the target pecking order but his usage in the red zone keeps him on the radar in fantasy. If for some reason Lazard were to be a surprise inactive, look for Doubs, Christian Watson, and Robert Tonyan to all see a bit more work in the passing attack.
