Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison has struggled to put up fantasy points in recent weeks. Since Week 7, Mattison has just one game over 10 PPR fantasy points, which came in Week 9 when he scored 17.3 points. But outside of that, it's been hard to start him.
In Week 14, Mattison continued that trend and scored just 6.6 PPR fantasy points. But that was only because he left the contest early with an ankle injury.
Is Mattison injured or healthy? Will he play in Week 15? Let's dive in.

Alexander Mattison Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Mattison was pretty efficient for Minnesota in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Las Vegas Raiders before his exit. He had 10 carries for 66 yards early in the third quarter. Unfortunately, though, Mattison left the game soon after with an ankle injury.
With a little over 14 minutes left in the third quarter, quarterback Joshua Dobbs threw a short pass to Mattison out wide. However, the 25-year-old back could not bring in the pass and got his ankle rolled up on in the process. He immediately went down and stayed down before walking off under his own power.
After the game, Vikngs head coach Kevin O'Connell said Mattison is dealing with a sprained ankle. With Minnesota playing on Saturday, the running back will have one less day to rest his ankle in Week 15.
Alexander Mattison Fantasy Football Outlook
Mattison is dealing with an ankle sprain, but we don't know the extent of it. If it's a low-ankle sprain, the 25-year-old back should have a good chance to suit up on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals. But, if he's dealing with a high-ankle sprain, it's unlikely he would be able to play in Week 15.
Either way, though, Mattison is not a must-start. He is currently the RB31 in fantasy and has averaged just 9.57 PPR fantasy points per game. He has failed to hit that mark in six of the past seven games.
Mattison has also failed to score a rushing touchdown this year. He has zero rush touchdowns on 168 rush attempts this season. Even if he plays in Week 15, he will likely be extremely limited and lose touches to backup running back Ty Chandler. If Mattison can't go, Chandler is a must-pickup.
