Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones was carted off in the Week 11 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. It was reported that Jones suffered a knee injury and, unsurprisingly, didn't return to play.
The Packers, despite his absence, registered a huge 23-20 win against a pretty good opponent. They are now 4-6 on the season and are still alive in the race to the playoffs.
Before exiting the game, the running back had four carries for 14 yards and one reception for three yards. How serious is Jones' injury? Will he play on Thursday against the Detroit Lions? Let's take a look at his injury status.

Aaron Jones Injury Update for Fantasy Football
As per the latest reports, Aaron Jones is believed to avoid a long-term knee injury. This is great news for all Packers fans, as the injury initially looked like a season-ending one.
However, it is quite unlikely that Jones will play on Thursday against the Lions. In his absence, AJ Dillon will be the leading back for the Packers, and Patrick Taylor will be the RB2 due to the injury to Emanuel Wilson.
Dillon is also dealing with a groin injury and was limited in Monday's practice, but he should be a full-time starter against the Lions. Getting a win in Detroit will be tough for the Packers, but to remain in the playoff hunt, they need to come away with a positive result.
Aaron Jones Fantasy Football Outlook
Aaron Jones has already missed three games this season due to a hamstring issue. In the seven games that he has played, Jones has rushed for 245 yards on 66 carries and scored three touchdowns.
He is averaging 3.7 yards per carry and also has 19 receptions for 169 yards and a touchdown on 30 targets. The Packers are 1-2 without Jones this season, and until he returns, it will be a challenging task for Matt LaFleur and Jordan Love to lead the team.
Heading into Week 12, the 28-year-old running back has scored a total of 76.4 points in full PPR leagues. The RotoBaller staff has him currently ranked #19 amongst all running backs.
