Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones entered the year in a timeshare with ascending star AJ Dillon, causing his draft cost to drop due to concerns about his workload and usage.
It's been a bumpy ride for him and the entire Green Bay offense, but he's still produced three monster games this season, despite their offensive struggles. One reason he's been so valuable is that he's stayed healthy.
Unfortunately, he exited their game against the Lions on Sunday with an ankle injury that leaves fantasy managers wondering about their tailback. Is Jones healthy or injured? Let's dive in.

Aaron Jones Injury Updates for Fantasy Football
Jones was fresh off a huge performance in Buffalo, racking up 143 yards on the ground on 20 carries, plus another 14 yards through the air on four receptions. It was enough to get fantasy managers excited for a juicy matchup against Detroit.
Unfortunately, the hype faded quickly once Jones left the game due to an ankle injury. Further exasperating the situation was the sight of him in a walking boot post-game.
While this kind of update doesn't necessarily mean the worst, it certainly creates concern about his status moving forward.
Aaron Jones Injury News
Thankfully, the news report that came out on Monday was more optimistic.
It is certainly not a guarantee that he will return to the field, but given that the tests came back negative and he'll have the remainder of the week to recover, there's a strong chance he'll be able to suit up on Sunday against the Cowboys.
Is Aaron Jones Playing in Week 9?
Fantasy managers will need to monitor practice reports leading into the weekend, especially on Friday. It would not be surprising to see Jones take some time off this week to ensure he can play, so seeing him miss practice on Wednesday, or being limited on Thursday and Friday does not mean he'll be ruled out.
With Dallas next up on the schedule, it'll be a difficult matchup for Jones and the Packers, but as long as he's cleared to play, he's a top-24 running back with touchdown and receiving upside.
