Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown had a tremendous season, finishing as the WR6 in PPR formats, averaging over 17 points per game. From Week 3 to Week 8, the star receiver recorded at least 120 receiving yards in every game.
The 26-year-old played just 18 percent of the snaps in the team's Week 18 game before not returning. On the field, his teammates expressed immense concern over how severe his injury might be.

A.J. Brown Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Brown (knee) went down with a knee injury early in the team's Week 18 game, and it looked potentially severe. Mike Garafolo from NFL Network reported that the injury isn't believed to be serious, and there's a belief that he will be ready to suit up for the playoff game.
Following the game, Brown was the first player to greet his teammates, and he seemed to be walking around fine. Considering their chances of winning the division were already low, and they found themselves in a big lead, the Eagles were likely being cautious by not allowing Brown to return.
Philadelphia heavily relies on the production of their star receiver to lead them to victory. With the team's recent struggles, they desperately need him to be healthy for a playoff run.
A.J. Brown Fantasy Football Outlook
The Eagles have really been struggling to end the season, losing five of their last six games after starting 10-1, including losses to the Giants and Cardinals. All season long, the defense has been an issue, specifically against the pass, but the offense seems to worsen every week as well. From poor schemes to a lack of adjustments to effort issues, this doesn't look anything like the Eagles we're used to.
As a result, Brown has had just one 100-yard receiving game since his dominant stretch earlier this year, resulting in zero 20-point PPR games since Week 8. While he managed to remain consistent with four games of at least 14 points, only scoring one touchdown after the bye has drastically lowered his ceiling.
With Jalen Hurts (finger) also banged up and the team struggling, it's probably better to avoid Brown this week if possible. The Buccaneers allow the ninth-most points per game to receivers this year and rank 14th in DVOA against the pass, but the recent struggles of the Eagles make him a risky play, especially considering injuries.
