Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown(hamstring) is a bonafide superstar, both in the real NFL and for fantasy football. Brown is one of the best receivers in the game, putting up monster numbers regularly. He finished 2022 and 2023 as the WR5 and WR6 overall in PPR fantasy scoring.
Brown is a big playmaker. He's essentially unguardable, and defenses that face the Eagles have made it the focal point of their game plan to stop Brown if at all possible (usually not possible) or at least slow him down to stop him. Much of the time they're not successful.
Unfortunately, injuries can slow down or stop any player, no matter how good they are, and the Eagles' star has been held out of previous contests this year with a hamstring injury he picked up after Week 1. Is Brown still hurt or is he healthy now? Will he start in Week 6 after the Eagles' bye? Let's dive in.

A.J. Brown Injury Update for Fantasy Football
There is good news. Brown was spotted at practice before the Eagles' Week 4 game against the Buccaneers, and though he didn't play in the game, it's a very good sign. The Eagles have a bye in Week 5, so Brown will have extra time to rest and hopefully make a full recovery.
UPDATE 🚨: A.J Brown was seen at practice today after missing around 2 weeks with a hamstring injury
per @DZangaroNBCS #FlyEaglesFly | #Eagles— Breon (@Breezadelphia3) September 27, 2024
Brown is hopeful for himself and expected by some to return after the bye week. This would mean Brown would play in Week 6 when the Eagles take on the Cleveland Browns. Fantasy managers should be prepared for him to miss more time, but there is hope. It was initially reported that this ailment wouldn't cause a long-term absence, and this return timeline seems to confirm that.
