The NASCAR Cup Series ran the Iowa Corn 350 this past Sunday evening at Iowa Speedway, the first-ever race at the track for the NASCAR Cup Series. Ryan Blaney ended up in victory lane after leading 201 of the 350 laps in the race.
Blaney had the Best Average Running Position for the race (2.62) and was followed in that statistic by William Byron (5.26) and Chase Elliott (5.52), who finished second and third respectively. Josh Berry (5.75) and Joey Logano (7.48) rounded out the top five when it came to Average Running Position.
Of the top five finishers in this weekend's race, Ricky Stenhouse Jr had the worst Average Running Position at 16.09, which was 14th-best. He qualified back in 35th, though, so that was a big reason why Stenhouse's Average Running Position was higher.
