BALLER MOVE: Add in NL-Only Leagues
OWNED IN: 1% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: There is no need to recount Ichiro Suzuki's career stats. At this point, he is simply playing to reach milestones and break records. There isn't a starting spot for him in Miami's talented outfield, but he always finds a way to get in the game, whether it's a spot start or a pinch-hitting appearance. Ichiro actually managed to lead the Marlins in at-bats last season, mainly due to Stanton's prolonged absence. His current value is only in the deepest of NL-only leagues where an extra outfield or utility spot needs filling. He is hitting .333 and seems sharper than last season. Of course, some luck could be in play as his .257 BABIP in 2015 was way off his career average of .340. The speed has dried up, so reaching double-digit SB would be gravy. Expect an average closer to .300 than last year's lowly .229 and a decent amount of runs scored. Maybe ask your commissioner to add fielding percentage as a category.
