BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 9% of leagues
ANALYSIS: After reaching base three times in four plate appearances on Saturday (single, double, walk), Hunter Renfroe's season line stands at .251/.317/.489. This represents a legitimate step forward across the board in his second full MLB season. The caveat, of course, is that he hasn't played every day thanks to a surplus of outfielders on the Padres' roster. That should be less of an issue going forward, particularly with Wil Myers injured yet again. Franchy Cordero is likely done for the year, Franmil Reyes is still quite raw, and Travis Jankowski is, well, Travis Jankowski.
Renfroe isn't a perfect player himself, but he does have 42 home runs in 777 career plate appearances, including four in his last six games and seven in his last 19. He's a solid play for owners in deeper formats who need some pop down the stretch.
