ANALYSIS: Jonnu Smith, who had missed two games in the two weeks before the last one, returned in Week 6 ahead of the clash against Cleveland. That didn't mean that he was fully available, though, so Hunter Henry stayed on the field for most (nearly all) of the Patriots' offensive snaps and was good enough to put up a top-6 finish at the TE position.

You know about how the whole idea of signing and playing Henry and Jonnu together worked out for the Patriots: better on paper than on the field, let alone for fantasy GMs. Even then, Henry has taken full advantage of Jonnu's absence of late and is coming off two weeks scoring 9.4 and 16.1 PPR points. The former figure might not sound too appealing, but it was the 13th-best fantasy score by a TE in Week 5, mind you.

Henry has caught four passes in each of the past two games while getting five targets in W5 and then seven this past Sunday. He posted 54 yards two weeks ago and 61 yards with a touchdown (his first of the season) this weekend.

There is another question mark yet to be solved when it comes to Henry's recent production in New England: will the Pats stick with Bailey Zappe instead of getting back to Mac Jones when the latter is fully recovered? That little change might flip Henry's and Smith's upsides on their heads, as was the case in the first three weeks of the season. Or, even worse, it might entirely murder their fantasy viability.

For now, though, Henry looks the better pick as he's appeared in at least 70% of the Patriots' offensive snaps in the past month of play including 98% and 97% snap shares in the last two with Jonnu out or only partially available (Smith, by the way, has yet to top 68% snaps played in a single game and only played in 43% of all last week).

Henry should be at least a good streaming option for those lacking a proper player at the position, however you define "proper" considering the putrid status of the tight end position in 2022.
