It's arguable that no one in Major League Baseball has been hit harder by the injury bug early in the season more than the boys from the Bronx. The issues arise in sports when your star players aren't able to perform on the field. The usual reason for players missing extended periods of time is when they are sidelined due to an injury. In his contract year of 2022, Judge owners had none of these concerns, as the slugger played in 157 of 162 games, the most of his career.
If you're an athlete and you earn your paycheck from swinging a bat, a hip injury is not something you take lightly. Much like neck issues, hip problems can keep players out for extended periods. However, from all reports, it looks like the dynamic future Hall of Famer may have dodged a bullet, and fantasy managers should breathe a sigh of relief.
