The Houston Texans have made a change at kicker. The team has released Randy Bullock and signed former San Diego Chargers kicker Nick Novak. The decision was made just two days after Bullock missed a 43-yard field goal attempt and an extra point attempt against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Novak had a great career with the Chargers and is a safe starter at kicker in all fantasy football leagues. He has a strong leg and could find himself in a Texans uniform for the next few years if he can stay consistent.
As for Bullock, he shouldn't be without a job for too long. He needed a change of scenery, but he's still a great kicker when focused. Depending on where he lands, he could be considered a safe starter in leagues as well.
Other kickers flying under the fantasy radar include Chicago Bears' Robbie Gould and Carolina Panthers' Graham Gano. Both are safe fantasy starters regardless of their matchup.
