On Saturday morning, the NASCAR Cup Series held the qualifying session for Sunday's 4EVER 400 at Homestead-Miami Motor Speedway. This qualifying session consisted of two rounds and the drivers were split into two groups. The top five fastest drivers from each group advanced to the second round.
The five fastest drivers that advanced out of the first group were: Bubba Wallace, Martin Truex, Jr., Austin Dillon, Brad Keselowski, and Ryan Blaney.
The five fastest drivers that ended up advancing out of the second group were: Tyler Reddick, Ty Gibbs, William Byron, Kyle Larson, and Ross Chastain.
