With Jimmie Johnson picking up the win at Charlotte last weekend we are now inching closer to another elimination race. There was some chaos that ensued last week which resulted in five Chase drivers finishing 30th or worse. It could have been much worse for those five teams as a quick look at the standings shows just eight points separating the bottom five drivers with four advancing after next week's race. On to this week.
Drivers and teams will now face another tough test this weekend at the Hollywodd Casino 400 from Kansas Speedway. Kansas is another mile and a half track but a bit different than Charlotte. While Charlotte is a Quad Oval with 24° of banking, Kansas is a D shaped oval with just 15°of banking which will make it harder to pass. There looks to be very minimal chance of rain in the forecast which will give us a ton of info to use with three practices and qualifying taking place Friday and Saturday before the race on Sunday. Stay tuned. Let's take a look at some of the top plays from a DFS perspective.

Daily Fantasy NASCAR: DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks
Favorite to win: Kyle Busch ($10,000)
While Kyle Busch and the #18 team have yet to win a race in this years Chase they have been extremely consistent. Busch is one of only three drivers to finish inside the Top 10 in each of the first four races and is on the cusp of getting back to victory lane en route to defending his 2015 title. It hasn't been his best track as he went winless up until earlier this year when he won the Go Bowling 400. Expect a similar result this time around with everything on the line.
Mid Tier Values: Carl Edwards ($8,700) & Matt Kenseth ($8,700)
Both drivers have seen their salaries drop below $9K making them top value plays on the week. Both have great track history here as well as Kenseth has two wins, five Top 5's and seven Top 10 finishes over the last 10 races with 6,8 average finish and 448 laps led(2nd most). He is also one of those three drivers with a Top 10 in each of the first four Chase races.
Edwards comes back to Kansas seeking his first win here and is more than due as he holds the 3rd best average finish(10.61) of all active drivers with at least 2 starts here. He is more of a GPP play as he has only recorded one Top 10 in the first four races in the Chase. He will have upside as he unloaded off the truck as the third fastest car in the opening practice.
Low End Value Play: Trevor Bayne ($6,600)
He comes in with some momentum with back to back Top 20 finishes and makes a nice value play in the mid $6K range. He will have some nice place differential value as he was 16th in the opening practice but qualified back in 25th. If he shows Top 20 speed through the final two practices on Saturday he would be safe in all formats.
