ANALYSIS: Will it be any different the second time around? The Baltimore Orioles, in search of a bit of an offensive spark, have called up Heston Kjerstad for his second MLB stint this season. But how much will the talented designated hitter/outfielder play?
The Orioles' offense slumped a bit during the series at Houston over the weekend. Could the call-up of Kjerstad be a sign they are looking to use him as a potential solution? Used sparingly in his first call-up, Kjerstad certainly has the potential to help fantasy teams if given an opportunity for consistent at-bats.

Kjerstad hit .268 with six homers and 28 RBI since his return to Triple-A Norfolk after his first stint in Baltimore in 2024. The power potential and a spot in a productive Orioles lineup are enough to add Kjerstad in all leagues speculatively. How much he rewards fantasy managers could come down to how much faith Baltimore shows in him.
