BALLER MOVE: Target ~120 (Current ADP: 153, TE: 16)
ANALYSIS: A seasoned veteran, Heath Miller looks like he's about to enter a season healthy after a 2013 injury plagued season. Last year, Miller came back from ACL surgery too early in week 3 and never looked completely healthy the rest of the way. Miller has proven that when he is on the field and healthy, he is Big Ben’s go to guy, including in the red zone. We saw this chemistry in last week’s preseason game when Heath caught 5 balls for 53 yds and a TD from Big Ben.
I see no reason why Miller can’t approach somewhere near his 71 receptions and at least half of the 8 TD’s he put up in 2012. With the Steelers allowing Roethlisberger to continue to run the hurry up, no huddle offense, Miller could see serious volume in 2014 as Ben’s top guy and be a huge red zone presence, taking some touchdowns from Antonio Brown in the process. With Heath’s late ADP, he’s a perfect TE2 with a likely upside of a TE1 to pair up as insurance with some high risk guys like Gronk, Travis Kelce, Ladarius Green or Jordan Reed.
