BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 16% of leagues
ANALYSIS: At this point in the season, everyday players are progressing rapidly toward the point where a single game doesn't cause wild swings in their overall numbers. Harrison Bader has yet to reach this point, as an 0-for-4 performance on Sunday dropped his OPS to .798, a decline of 32 points. Still, it's hard to find the kind of pop/speed combo Bader has offered so far (five home runs, six stolen bases) on the wire this time of year.
Or, at least, it usually is and should be. Bader, however, remains available in six out of every seven leagues at the moment., though his ownership rate has more than doubled over the weekend. Presumably it's due to the crowded Cardinals roster, and that's certainly a valid concern. After all, he's only at 112 plate appearances thus far for a reason. But you know what they say: Bet on skills, not roles. Bader is worth a roll of the dice in most formats.
