ANALYSIS: Three games for Hamidou Diallo as a Piston and this is the rundown so far for him donning Detroit's threads: one game for the check-in and tune-up, two to showcase his true talents. Diallo was off basketball courts from Feb. 24, when his last game as a Thunder took place and made it back to the wood on Mar. 26 to face the Nets coming off the pine for Detroit. It wasn't the best of debuts, let's be honest for a minute: 6 points and 2 rebounds in 18 minutes, which sucked to watch.
Since then, though? Magic. Diallo has played two more games, against Toronto and Portland, and although he is still coming off the bench these days odds are he ends snatching a starting gig and being part of the five starters Detroit names daily. His production has been rock solid in those two matches, putting up 19-10-3-1-2 and 19-7-3-1-1 lines last Monday and Wednesday in just 27 minutes of playing time in each of those couple games.
I mean, obviously, Diallo is not going to keep up his torrid shooting (66% from the floor as a Piston), his monster 40 PF/G of the last two games, and much less his bonkers 1.45 FP/min efficiency in that span. That being said, though, Diallo is a 12+ PPG player this season and was contributing a 5-2-1 rest-of-line in OKC, something he shouldn't have a problem replicating in a similar (actually, worse) talent-level squad. Above-average player on both a per-minute and per-game basis yet still available in almost 60% of Yahoo leagues, though most probably not for long. Make your move while you still can.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
