Gus Edwards, Ty Chandler, Devin Singletary: Week 15 Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football

Ty Chandler - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Should I start Gus Edwards, Ty Chandler, Devin Singletary for Week 15? Fantasy football start em, sit em picks for the 2023 fantasy football playoffs.

The fantasy football playoffs begin in Week 15, so fantasy managers should be extra meticulous when making start-or-sit decisions moving forward. Playing the wrong player could result in ending your 2023 fantasy season.

This week, Gus Edwards, Ty Chandler, and Devin Singletary all have tricky outlooks. Each player has provided fantasy managers with value at some point this season, but none of the three have been must-start studs.

Should you start Edwards, Chandler, or Singletary in Week 15? Let's get into it.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Should I Start Gus Edwards for Fantasy Football?

Last Week: RB60

Edwards has 10 rushing touchdowns this season, which has kept him firmly on the fantasy radar. However, his role has varied week-to-week, making him a touchdown-or-bust fantasy option. In three of his last five games, Edwards has seen fewer than 10 total touches. Last week, he rushed just six times for 15 yards.

Heading into a Week 15 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars, he'll need a few goal line carries to pay off for fantasy managers. In deep leagues, fantasy managers might not have a choice and will need to utilize him as a low-end flex option. However, if you're in a shallower league of 12 teams or fewer, there are likely better options available for Sunday's slate. Consider him a shaky RB3 play in the first round of the fantasy football playoffs.

Should I Start Ty Chandler for Fantasy Football?

Last Week: RB43

Alexander Mattison is dealing with an ankle injury, and his status for Week 15 is up in the air. The Vikings are set to face the Cincinnati Bengals, who present a neutral matchup for fantasy running backs. This Bengals-Vikings clash is on Saturday, so fantasy managers will need to make a decision about Chandler earlier in the week than usual.

If Mattison can't go, Chandler should operate as the team's workhorse, and there's a good chance he sees plenty of targets in the passing game from Nick Mullens. If Mattison does play, he's a risky high-end RB3 play.

Despite Chandler's increased role in recent weeks, he's only posted two finishes inside the top 24 running backs this season. However, he could push for an RB1 week if the backfield clears up for him.

Should I Start Devin Singletary for Fantasy Football?

Last Week: RB19

Devin Singletary had surprising boom performances in Week 10 and Week 11 in the absence of Dameon Pierce. However, Pierce has returned to the Texans' lineup, resulting in Singletary being pushed back into a lesser role. The former Buffalo Bill has averaged just under 9.1 half-PPR fantasy points per game over the last three weeks.

Now, he's set to face the Tennessee Titans, and quarterback C.J. Stroud could miss the contest with a concussion. While this could lead the Texans to lean more on the ground game, it could mean fewer sustained drives and red zone trips. Fantasy managers are usually concerned about their top wideouts losing a quarterback, but running backs can also be negatively impacted.

Like Edwards and Chandler, Singletary sets up to be a risky RB3 in this AFC South contest.
