BALLER MOVE: Add In All Leagues
ANALYSIS: Some experts will try to tell you that the 22 year old Gregory Polanco should have already been called up because the Pirates have needed him so desperately, but despite his tearing up of the minor leagues thus far in 2014, Pittsburgh's outfield situation has been crowded by young, and once-promising, part time players like Travis Snider, Josh Harrison and Jose Tabata. Additionally, Mr. Polanco may be the only minor league stud in recent memory not in a rush to take his arbitration buyout contract and get to the big show a bit quicker. He and his very shrewd agents have decided to gamble on his once in a decade talent level, and bide their time killing Triple A pitching to the tune of a .350 BA with 7 HR, 45 RBI, and 15 steals as the icing on the fantasy baseball cake! It's clearly obvious that the Bucs can use this young rising star in the majors immediately, and if the reporting of reliable baseball insiders in correct, we should see young Gregory taking big league hacks by the middle of June (if not by week's end!). The moral of the story is this; it makes no sense that with all of the national hype that has ensued by Polanco's imminent arrival, he would only be owned in 51% of Yahoo leagues. Therefore, it would be very prudent for all fantasy baseball managers in mixed leagues over 10 teams, and NL Only formats, to run to their waiver wire and attempt snag up this future all-star before its too late!
