ANALYSIS: Greg Dortch is currently listed as the WR2 on the Arizona Cardinals depth chart behind Marvin Harrison Jr. So far, in the young NFL fantasy football season, Dortch has had some high highs and low lows.
His best game of the season came in Week 1, where he accumulated 11.1 fantasy points (PPR), while his worst came in Week 2, where he recorded 3.1 fantasy points. As we enter Week 5 (coming off a 6.5 fantasy point performance), Dortch is in a prime position to succeed and deliver a solid game.
The Cardinals are set to take on the San Francisco 49ers, who, apart from Charvarius Ward (who will likely guard Harrison Jr.), have a relatively weak secondary. This will open up space for Dortch, who thrives on taking advantage of his targets and catching deep balls. It is also worth noting that Dortch is averaging 11.65 fantasy points over his last two games against the Niners.
Greg Dortch is phenomenal.
Greg went undrafted and was waived by FOUR FREAKING TEAMS prior to finding success in Arizona.
Greg is a true testament to the power of work ethic and willpower, and he is pretty freaking inspirational! #BirdGang pic.twitter.com/E4HqwKlA3P

Fantasy managers should keep in mind Dortch’s streakiness and inconsistencies. However, if they are thin, they could take the gamble on starting him as a flex option in Week 5.
