ANALYSIS: Consensus top-ten prospect Grayson Rodriguez is suspected to soon be making his MLB debut for the Baltimore Orioles, and the full body of his minor league resume screams at his potential to have an immediate impact. The 22-year-old Texan has pitched 266.2 innings in 62 professional appearances since 2018 after getting drafted 11th overall by the Orioles, to the tune of a 2.40 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, 2.5 BB/9, 13.6 K/9, and only 15 allowed homers.

He has excelled at every level, most recently producing a 2.32 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, 76 K, 14 BB, and one allowed HR in 50.1 IP over ten starts for Triple-A Norfolk (demonstrating an ability to sustain quality deep enough into games). Despite some surprisingly good performances out of the Baltimore rotation this season, their pitching staff is still rife with struggles and injuries, and so the 6-5, 220-lb. blue-chipper's call-up seems inevitable. For those in moderate-sized leagues, Grayson Rodriguez should be one of the top arms on your short list of potential acquisitions.
