ANALYSIS: After a shaky start to the season, the Boston Celtics surely got things right of late and are currently boasting a tasty 8-2 record in their last 10 games through Friday thanks mostly to their stiff defensive efforts. We can't say Grant Williams has been the main reason for that (he has not been such a key piece, no) but he's been more than good as an off-the-piner taking on a defined role and making the most of his (rather high) minutes on the court.
G-Will is playing around 31 MPG in the games that have took place after the ASW break (five of them). He's never dropped below the 26-minute mark, and although the usage rates have been quite low (12.8%), the truth is that the below-average mark was kind of schemed to sit at that level. That's because Williams is basically coming off the bench with the second unit to shoot a low volume of shots, hit his couple of three-pointers, and contrib on D with steals and blocks if possible.
Williams has averaged a nightly 11-4-1 line with 1+ stocks per game. Nothing incredible, but nothing bad either for a guy that has started three of his last seven games played and is definitely in Boston's plans ROS and into the postseason. The shooting percentages are high for the type of shots Williams takes (53%+ in the last seven games on 7 FGA) and GW just doesn't know how to miss a freebie (he's hit every single free-throw he has attempted--22--from Jan. 12 on). Be careful with the turnovers if they are factored in your league's format as he's a little bit bouncy on that front.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
