Let's hear it for roads! Road-course racing is back for one last time in 2019 as NASCAR heads to Watkins Glen International for "Go Bowling at The Glen". There are not many races that promote Charlie Sheen style shirts and goofy shoes to wear on polished wood floors, so don't worry what your friends think and throw that fit on for race day. This 90 lap, 2.45-mile track was made for thrills, and this is one race I really look forward to year after year.
All eyes are on Hendrick Motorsports this weekend. Chase Elliott dominated the track activities, and has officially earned a spot on my driver picks list for Sunday. Elliott and William Byron (qualified P2) will lead things off on race day and put Chevrolet at the top. Jimmie Johnson also landed a Top 10 starting position, and will be under close watch with new crew chief Cliff Daniels.
Kyle Busch is going to be a driver that most should lock in this Sunday, but I'll be finding value in other places for the most part this weekend. You want drivers that found themselves higher up on the starting grid because of the passing difficulty, but some drivers toward the back are just too sweet to pass up. I've listed a couple of them below to get the most out of your DFS lineups this Sunday.

DFS Lineup Picks - DraftKings, FanDuel
Erik Jones #20 (DraftKings $8,900 | FanDuel $10,000)
I'm Jones'in for Erik Jones. This is the third week I've used Jones in DFS, and he's become a reliable driver week in and week out thus far (knocking on wood everywhere).
Jones finished inside the Top 10 in both practices at Watkins Glen, and qualified in P14. He's no doubt the best value on Joe Gibbs Racing right now, and should see some positive placement on Sunday.
Clint Bowyer #14 (DraftKings $9,700 | FanDuel $13,000 )
Bowyer has made it out of the garage this week for DFS purposes. In the past four seasons, Bowyer has finished two races at this track inside the Top 10, and had an 11th-place finish last year.
Bowyer's best practice run on Saturday was a sixth-place finish with a speed of 124.965. With an average of 43 FPTS, Bower is definitely worth a play this week at his cost.
Joey Logano #22 (DraftKings $9,100 | FanDuel $12,500)
Logano only had one Top 10 practice run on Saturday, and qualified 21st. I know that doesn't sound like all that and a bag of chips, but when a driver of his caliper is towards the back, I get excited.
In four of the last six races at Watkins Glen, Logano has finished seventh or better and had a victory at this track in 2015. Many might say to pass him up this week, but I feel that he's going to be a difference-maker.
Chase Elliott #9 (DraftKings $9,400 | FanDuel $11,500)
Elliott was hands down the best car on the track Saturday. His luck has been low as of late, but this is his chance to turn things around.
Elliott won this race last year after starting in P3 and finished his other two career races at this track in 13th. Elliott is capable of leading laps, and that will add up big for your lineups this week.
