We're back on road this weekend, and on the verge of witnessing history being made with the inaugural Go Bowling 235 at the Daytona Road Course. Until now, we have never seen a Cup Series race with this configuration, and the outcomes are truly limitless. Not only is this the first time these drivers have driven the course with this configuration, but they also won't be having any practice before engines fire on race day (other than simulators).
I knew we would be in for a tough one this weekend, but after a few nights of research, I finally feel like I have a grip on how this race should play out. This week it's super important to dial back your spending on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel (unless you're just a total NASCAR degenerate like myself) due to the lack of data we have. If you do go all in, you have to come in swinging like Floyd Mayweather, and have confidence in every step.
This race will consist of 65 laps, with the first stage ending at Lap 15, and the second at Lap 30. If this race turns out anything like Saturdays Xfinity race, we're in for a wild afternoon, so be sure to check out Chef Boi's Premium NASCAR Rankings after reading my picks. Get ready for some wild action this weekend, and let's turn it into BAGS!

Martin Truex Jr. #19
(DraftKings $10,100 | FanDuel $14,000 | DK SportsBook +450 - 1 Unit)
Truex is a proven road course racer who is known to trust his instincts. He will be starting from P3 at the start of the race, and could easily give Denny Hamlin some trouble with Hamlin's not so impressive road course record. Look for Truex to bring the heat all race long.
Kevin Harvick #4
(DraftKings $9,600 | FanDuel $12,500 | DK SportsBook +700 - 1 Unit)
It's Harvick's world right now and we're just living in it. Even though Harvick hasn't had a road course win since Sonoma in 2017, I'm fully confident that he has the speed to create some big separation early on, even with all the unknown factors. Take advantage of this price while you can, because I doubt it gets this low again for the rest of the season.
Clint Bowyer #14
(DraftKings $8,800 | FanDuel $10,000 | DK SportsBook +2200 - .5 Unit)
Bowyer hasn't had the prettiest season in 2020, but history has shown us he's not to bad at running the streets. Bowyer has put up two Top 5's at the Charlotte Roval, which is a good sign that this could be a positive race for him. He's my "Wild Boi Pick" for this weekend, so dont empty your wallet on him at the sportsbook, but put some respect on his road game.
Ryan Blaney #12
(DraftKings $11,000 | FanDuel $11,400 | DK SportsBook +900 - 1 Unit )
Blaney is the highest priced driver on the board, and has become a hell of a road course driver in the past few years. Since his inaugural Charlotte Roval win, Blaney has placed three straight Top 10's between Watkins Glen, Sonoma, and The Roval (two of them Top 5's). Blaney starts in P24 on Sunday, and should rack up some fantasy points, and maybe a win.

James Davison #51
(DraftKings $5,200 | FanDuel $3,000)
You're probably asking yourself who is James Davison, and why have I never heard of him. Davison is an Australian driver who made his NASCAR Cup Series debut this year at the Pocono doubleheader with Rick Ware Racing. Davison is an established road guy, and with a starting position of P38, he's the best option if you're digging deep into the value barrel.
Alex Bowman #88
(DraftKings $8,200 | FanDuel $9,100)
Bowman has been quiet lately, and although I dont see him finishing this race inside the Top 5, he certainly should come close to it. Aside from his starting position of P27, he has shown flashes of skill at the past few road course races. Out of all the Hendrick drivers, I truly feel that Bowman will end up with the most DFS points out of the bunch.
Michael McDowell #34
(DraftKings $7,000 | FanDuel $6,500)
We're dusting off the bad juju from Michigan, and going back to Mike Mac this Sunday. McDowell has been known to rack the roads for quite some time now with seven Rolex 24 appearances in his career. Don't be surprised if we see a Top 15 from McDowell after the lights go out in Daytona.
Matt DiBenedetto #21
(DraftKings $7,800 | FanDuel $9,400)
Matty D is someone I had to really consider this week when looking for a solid mid-range priced driver this week. DiBenedetto starts from P9, and has put up two Top 15's at the Roval. The thing that gives me the most confidence is that DiBenedetto has been advancing from his starting position since the Roval at road courses, so I'm hoping to see that continue on Sunday.
