ANALYSIS: The good news is Gerald Everett has taken advantage of Mike Williams’ season-ending knee injury by scoring touchdowns in back-to-back games while emerging as a Justin Herbert favorite.
The bad news is Everett suffered a quadriceps injury in the Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, so his status will have to be monitored before you think about claiming him on fantasy waivers.
If the 29-year-old is good to go moving forward, he has plenty of upside tied to one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Hopefully, the Chargers' offense will begin the play with some consistency in more favorable matchups down the stretch.
