BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR28
ANALYSIS: Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens was a polarizing fantasy football draft pick. While he has significant talent, the former Georgia star has struggled to produce for fantasy players because of quarterback play.
Pickens is the WR49 over the first three weeks, averaging 7.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He has scored double-digit fantasy points only once this season, totaling 10.5 in Week 1.
However, the star receiver is an outstanding low-end WR2/high-end WR3 this week because of the matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. They have surrendered 33.8 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year, the sixth-most in the NFL.
Furthermore, the Colts use single-high coverage on 57.1% of their defensive pass snaps this season, the 10th-most in the league (per Fantasy Points Data). Pickens has averaged 2.9 yards per route run and a 51.7% first-read target share against single-high coverage this year.
