BALLER MOVE: Start in 12-team PPR formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens has had a strong second season in the NFL, catching 52 passes for 814 yards and three touchdowns. He's upped his per-game receiving average from 47.1 yards per game last season to 58.1 yards per game this season.
Still, consistency has been an issue at times, which is why Pickens rates as a low-end WR4 option on Saturday when the Steelers take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
Over the last four games, Pickens has the following receiving yard totals: 58, 86, 19, 47. There are some games in there that fantasy managers would be happy with, but also some that would be a disappointment. What's more, Pickens hasn't found the end zone since Week 8. In the seven games since then, he's averaged 3.4 receptions for 41.7 yards per game. His strong start to the season is a bit of a distant memory at this point.
Pickens did have one of his better recent games against this Bengals team though, as he caught three of his five passes for 58 yards when these teams met last month. Even with that upside, Pickens isn't a fantasy option in shallower leagues.
