BALLER MOVE: Start In All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is one of the most frustrating players in fantasy football. The tight end is a fantasy star capable of putting up 20 or more fantasy points on any given week. He can also get squeezed out of San Francisco's offense by Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and Brandon Aiyuk, scoring fewer than five fantasy points in some contests.
While the bust weeks are disheartening, fantasy players should start Kittle every week and hope for the best. He is the TE4 for the year, averaging 11.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
The star tight end has played well lately, scoring 15 or more fantasy points in four of his past six contests. Last week, Kittle had only five targets but totaled 76 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 15.1 fantasy points in the win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15.
Today, he faces an Arizona Cardinals defense that gives up fantasy points by the pound. Unfortunately, the one area they have played well at defensively is at the tight end spot. The Cardinals have held tight ends to the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game this season (7.8). Kittle had only 1.4 fantasy points in the Week 4 matchup against the division rivals.
Despite the unappealing matchup in Week 15, Kittle remains a must-start TE1 for fantasy players.
