BALLER MOVE: Continue Scouting
ANALYSIS: Geno Smith is coming off an impressive fantasy performance in which he threw for 331 yards and added a rushing TD in a 27-20 win over a mediocre Buffalo Bills team. Smith showed flashes throughout, including scrambling in for a TD and later connecting for a long TD pass to Santonio Holmes in the fourth quarter to put the Jets ahead for good. Still, his weaknesses are glaring. He is second in the league with six INTs and second-to-last with an unimpressive 53.9% passing completion rate. Smith's next matchup comes against the Titans, who are 10th in the league against the pass and may well take advantage of Smith’s penchant for throwing picks. Nevertheless, he is still a player to watch. A couple more rushing TDs could make all the difference in his ownership levels.
