ANALYSIS: New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson should be viewed as a solid WR1 heading into his Week 3 matchup against the New England Patriots.
Through his first two games with Aaron Rodgers, the Ohio State Buckeye has seen 45.7% of the team’s air yards and 29.3% of the team’s total targets. He has also been targeted on 25.4% of his routes, which places him in the top 86% percentile among all wideouts.
He has made ten total catches with 117 yards and no scores in the box score.

Despite his underwhelming base production, his underlying metrics are quite promising and suggest brighter days are ahead.
Wilson is the clear alpha of this wide receiver room and is getting enough looks to be a consistent WR1. He is due for a breakout and facing a New England defense that surrendered 129 yards to DK Metcalf last weekend is a great matchup.
