ANALYSIS: Garrett Mitchell is set to come off the 60-day IL today, which means he could be activated and on the Brewers roster as early as tomorrow.
Milwaukee already has four outfielders who have all been seeing regular playing time, so it's possible that Mitchell could be optioned to Triple-A Nashville if they can't find a spot for him on the big league roster.
But Mitchell has a strong case to make the team based on what he did last year for Milwaukee (.271 AVG, 5 HR, 16 RBI, 9 SB in 126 AB) and has been swinging the bat well at Triple-A as well.

Mitchell has four home runs and has swiped three bases in 11 games at Nashville while hitting .310. While Christian Yelich and Jackson Chourio are firmly entrenched in two of the outfield spots, Mitchell could represent an upgrade over Blake Perkins or Sal Frelick.
Mitchell's combination of speed and power is enough to warrant adding him right now with the hope that he wins that third outfielder job. He's just 3% rostered in Yahoo! leagues.
