Welcome to the FPL Gameweek 7 rankings, RotoBallers! Cole Palmer's four goals put a dent in many teams and their brilliant Wildcard plans. However, there's nothing like a quick bounce back, and that's what Gameweek 7 offers.
Man United versus Aston Villa is the biggest game of the weekend, but there are plenty of other matches to watch from an FPL perspective. Questions surround the starting lineups for Liverpool, Man City, and Arsenal. Make sure to check those Friday conferences for any hints at possible lineups.
The Gameweek 7 deadline of the 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League season is Saturday, October 5, at 6:00 a.m. EDT, when Crystal Palace welcomes Liverpool to London. Also, check out the rest of our excellent soccer coverage as the squad gets you all set for every English Premier League slate and UEFA Champions League game with our EPL DFS lineup picks and betting picks.

FPL Goalkeepers - Gameweek 7 Rankings
David Raya (£5.6m) caused some hysteria in the FPL world last week with his questionable status heading into Gameweek 6. He allowed two goals versus Leicester but kept a clean sheet against PSG in the Champions League. Another easy weekend is in the cards for the Spanish shot-stopper.
It took an Ibrahima Konate disaster for Wolves to get on the scoresheet last weekend, and they can't rely on chances like that every game. Brentford has the firepower to win this game, but they'll want to keep their first clean sheet of the season against an easier opponent with Mark Flekken (£4.5m) in net.

FPL Defenders - Gameweek 7 Rankings
As you can see from the rankings, the model loves Arsenal's defense this weekend. New signing Riccardo Calafiori (£5.8m) is my pick of the Gunners this week. Gabriel (£6.2m) and William Saliba (£6.0m) can score from the air, but the new Italian defender in London has shown the ability to bang one in on the ground.
The only thing stopping Andy Robertson (£6.0m) from opening his FPL attacking account this weekend was his teammate, Dominik Szobszlai. The Hungarian missed a sitter after the Scottish defender perfectly teed him up. Karma gets Robertson back this weekend as he bags his first attacking return of the season against Crystal Palace.

FPL Midfielders - Gameweek 7 Rankings
Gabriel Martinelli (£6.9m) scored his first Premier League goal of the season against Leicester and looked dangerous versus PSG during the middle of the week. He's in 3.7 percent of FPL squads and is a massive differential in Gameweek 7.
Bruno Fernandes managed to get sent off twice in five days. Fortunately for FPL managers, his red card was overturned and he will not serve a longer ban. While he's not the most enticing option, the Portuguese midfielder will get a game against Aston Villa on Sunday.

FPL Forwards - Gameweek 7 Rankings
Erling Haaland (£15.3m) hasn't scored a hat trick in a few weeks. Something must be wrong! Regardless, the Norwegian is the standout captaincy option this weekend in a home game versus Fulham. He's averaging 11.6 FPL points per game at home this season.
Liam Delap (£5.6m) impressed with two goals against Aston Villa. The Ipswich forward is up to three on the year and a genuine FPL option for those managers in the sub-£6m range. A game versus West Ham looks tricky on paper, but the Hammers' defense is anything but sharp.
