Welcome to the FPL Gameweek 3 rankings, RotoBallers! Bukayo Saka or Cole Palmer? Alexander Isak or Ollie Watkins? Emile Smith Rowe or Antoine Semenyo? Our rankings aim to help you solve these questions ahead of Gameweek 3.
Erling Haaland rewarded his managers, who used the triple captain chip with a hat trick and all three bonus points. Congratulations if you went there in Gameweek 2. For the manager who wasn't as brave, don't fret because other opportunities will be cropping up this season.
The Gameweek 3 deadline of the 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League season is Saturday, August 31, at 6:00 a.m. EDT, when Arsenal welcomes Brighton to Emirates Stadium. FPL Gameweek 2 High Scorers
Goalkeeper: David Raya, Arsenal - 10 points
Defender: Cristian Romero, Spurs - 14 points
Midfielder: Noni Madueke, Chelsea - 20 points
Forward: Erling Haaland, Man City - 17 points
FPL Goalkeepers - Gameweek 3 Rankings
Two weeks, 19 points. That's not bad business for David Raya (£5.5M). I doubt he's the one to break the never-premium mold at goalkeeper, but it's an encouraging start for the Arsenal shot-stopper. Plus, he's the cheapest route into that defense.
New season, same old slow-starting Everton. Jordan Pickford (£4.9M) fell in price this week, which is the same story as last year. If he's in your squad, I wouldn't panic sell him. The clean sheets will come for the Toffees as their defense learns to stick together.
Friday update: Nottingham Forest's defense has been solid since the beginning of the year. They've conceded the third-fewest expected goals (1.36 xGC) through two games. This makes Matz Sels (£4.5M) an excellent option versus Wolves in Gameweek 3.

FPL Defenders - Gameweek 3 Rankings
The RotoBaller model thinks Arsenal will do well against Brighton this weekend. Their defenders occupy the top three spots in the rankings early run. Back-to-back clean sheets will have FPL managers scrambling for Gabriel (£6.0M) and William Saliba (£6.0M).
Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.0M) looked great again versus Brentford, but Andy Robertson (£6.0M) also got forward. The Scotsman linked up well with Luis Diaz (£7.5M) down the left wing and got into many attacking areas. It could be a surprise area to attack against Man United this weekend.

FPL Midfielders - Gameweek 3 Rankings
Cole Palmer (£10.5M) reminded everyone on Sunday why he was given the biggest price jump (£5.5M) in FPL history over the summer. The Chelsea midfielder had a goal and three assists and instantly jumped into FPL managers' thoughts with the Blues' strong run of fixtures coming up.
After a quiet Gameweek 1, Anthony Gordon (£7.5M) showed up against Bournemouth. The English winger had a goal and could've had another if not for outstanding shot-stopping from Neto (£4.5M). Get rid of Gordon at your own risk after accumulating 1.03 xGI on Sunday.
Friday update: Morgan Rogers (£5.1M) jumped into the top 15 midfielders for Gameweek 3. His performance versus Arsenal had everything except an attacking return. FPL managers can expect that to change when Aston Villa visits Leicester this weekend.

FPL Forwards - Gameweek 3 Rankings
It's been a frustratingly slow start to the campaign for Ollie Watkins (£9.0M). After playing hero for England at Euro 2024, Aston Villa fans cursed his name after missing two huge chances versus Arsenal. However, a match versus Leicester should cure those woes.
Nicolas Jackson (£7.5M) has been subbed in the first two games before the 70-minute mark. That's not encouraging for the long-term outlook of the striker, but he bagged a goal against Wolves to cement his spot in the starting XI versus a Crystal Palace side that's conceded twice in both games.
Friday update: Once the model caught up to Evanilson's (£6.0M) performance from Sunday, it fell in love with Bournemouth's newest striker. The Brazilian produced 0.75 xG in his home debut, and it feels like only a matter of time until he opens his Premier League account.
