Welcome to Gameweek 13, RotoBallers! This is our third year covering FPL, and we are bringing you more coverage than ever. We publish two weekly articles: a staff roundtable preview and our weekly rankings. Then, once a month, we have our newest report, The Watchlist, a review of the previous month and a look ahead to the upcoming fixtures.
Twelve gameweeks down, 26 to go. This weekend starts with the most prominent fixture on the Premier League calendar for the last five seasons: Man City versus Liverpool. It should be an incredible game, and hopefully, it delivers in every aspect. Outside of that showdown, Newcastle versus Chelsea, Spurs-Villa, and Man United traveling to Everton are the games to watch.
The Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 13 deadline is 6:00 AM ET on Saturday, November 25, when Man City welcomes Liverpool in an early title clash. Also, look out for the rest of our excellent soccer coverage as the squad gets you all set for every English Premier League, Major League Soccer, and UEFA Champions League slate from a DFS and betting perspective.
Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 13 Rankings
Our weekly rankings highlight players who could be worth a punt in your Fantasy Premier League squad. While the rankings will be filled with familiar names, a low-owned player with an easy fixture will rise up the one-week charts. For each gameweek, we will provide our top 15 goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. These can also be applied as DFS rankings for your weekend contests.
Gameweek 12 Fantasy Premier League High Scorers
- Goalkeeper: Murara Neto, Bournemouth - 9 points
- Defender: Kostas Tsimikas, Liverpool & Victor Lindelof, Manchester United - 15 points
- Midfielder: Mohamed Salah, Liverpool - 16 points
- Forward: Erling Haaland, Manchester City - 16 points
FPL Goalkeepers - Gameweek 13 Rankings
- Sam Johnstone is the second highest-scoring goalkeeper in FPL this season and faces Luton and Bournemouth in two of his next three fixtures. The Crystal Palace shot-stopper has scored at least eight points in four of his previous seven matches and should be on course to make it five in eight versus Luton Town in Gameweek 13.
- Alphonse Areola will need a big performance against Burnley to remain in many FPL managers starting XI. Since I brought him in on my Gameweek 8 Wildcard, the Hammers goalkeeper has scored eight points in five games. Considering he had 32 points in the seven games prior, he's disappointed.

FPL Defenders - Gameweek 13 Rankings
- The model likes Crystal Palace's chances of a clean sheet versus Luton, and that's why you see three Eagles in the top six defenders in Gameweek 13. Mark Guéhi is my favorite because he's £0.5m cheaper than Joachim Anderson and produces some goal threat. He plays 90 minutes weekly and has a favorable run of fixtures in the next three gameweeks.
- William Saliba started the year as a £5.0m defender but has shot up to £5.4m after some fantastic performances from the Frenchman. The Gunners defender has at least six points in four of the last six gameweeks and was magnificent in Gameweek 12. Against Burnley, Saliba bagged a goal and all three bonus points despite not keeping a clean sheet. That sort of upside is too attractive to pass on, and I would be looking to move away from Matty Cash for Saliba in the coming weeks.

FPL Midfielders - Gameweek 13 Rankings
- Son Heung-min is a tier below Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah in the captaincy debates but is still in my thoughts ahead of Gameweek 13. Despite losing James Maddison and other supporting cast, Son has a great chance to pounce on Aston Villa's high line.
- If Jarrod Bowen is declared fit for the weekend, he will become a high-priority transfer for my FPL side. The Englishman is the third-highest-scoring midfielder in the game and has netted eight goals during the 2023/23 campaign. Last season, Bowen only scored six goals, and he's well on his way to passing his career high (12) from the 2021/22 season. He's scored in every away match this campaign and would be a safe bet to make it 7-for-7 if he gets the green light to play versus Burnley.

FPL Forwards - Gameweek 13 Rankings
- Oh, Dominic Solanke, how you torture me! He was my big Gameweek 8 Wildcard punt, and I kept him on my side until Gameweek 11. In Gameweek 12, the former Liverpool man netted two goals against the second-best defense in the league. You've got to love some FPL pain. In Gameweek 13, Solanke meets Sheffield United, owns the fourth-best goal odds, and plays the side with the most expected goals conceded (26.27) in the Premier League.
- The man I brought in for Dominic Solanke was Evan Ferguson. The Irishman rewarded my faith by picking up a back injury and not making the matchday squad. What did I do to you, FPL gods?? Ferguson also picked up a hamstring injury while on international duty over the last two weeks. So I would advise not to do what I did and transfer him in despite a tasty fixture versus Nottingham Forest. Instead, Simon Adingra or Joao Pedro should be the seagulls who soar against the trees.
