ANALYSIS: Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Gabe Davis wasn’t on fantasy football radars heading into the 2024 season. The veteran wide receiver struggled to end last year, scoring zero fantasy points in multiple games with the Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been much better in Jacksonville, averaging 5.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Furthermore, the veteran has seen his fantasy production decline in every contest, going from 7.7 fantasy points to 5.8 to 2.8 last night. Davis had two receptions on six targets for 18 receiving yards in the blowout loss to the Bills. Unfortunately, it was an awful performance for him and the team.

The only thing that makes Davis appealing in deeper leagues is the target volume. After totaling three targets in Week 1, the veteran wide receiver has had six or more in back-to-back games. He has a fantasy-friendly matchup in Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts, which could make him a flex option in deeper leagues.
