Should I Start Gabe Davis for Fantasy Football?
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis is the definition of a boom-or-bust player and currently heavily relies on touchdowns for production. While the 24-year-old has found the end zone in five games this season, he's only had more than three catches three times, along with three games of 80 or more yards.
The Bills take on the Jets in Week 11, who allow the fewest points per game to wide receivers this season. Davis put up just two catches on four targets for 32 yards in their Week 1 meeting. On an offense with Stefon Diggs and an emerging Dalton Kincaid, Davis remains a risky play. He ranks as a WR4/low-end flex option in Week 11.
He is the WR44 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Jared Goff for Fantasy Football?
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is the QB12 on the season, throwing for at least 270 yards four times and scoring multiple touchdowns five times this season. Last week, the 29-year-old finished 23-for-33 for 333 yards and two passing touchdowns against the Chargers.
This week, the Lions take on the Bears, who allow the sixth-most points per game to quarterbacks this season. As long as the Lions don't completely run away with it and opt to go run-heavy, Goff could be in store for a huge day. He ranks as a solid QB1 ahead of a favorable matchup in Week 11.
He is the QB8 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Jahmyr Gibbs for Fantasy Football?
Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs has exploded with a full workload over the last three games, recording four touchdowns in that span with at least 100 total yards in every game. Running mate David Montgomery returned last week, yet the Lions kept Gibbs as the main workhorse, tallying 17 touches to Montgomery's 12.
The Lions take on the Bears this week, who allow the ninth-most points per game to running backs this season. Detroit currently sits as seven-and-a-half-point favorites, meaning there should be plenty of opportunity to control the clock with the ground game. Despite sharing the backfield with Montgomery, Gibbs ranks as a high-end RB1 in a perfect matchup in Week 11.
He is the RB4 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
