It was another tough week for us in Week 6. We finished 0-2 and down 1.7 units. The Steelers blew a late lead against the Dallas Cowboys to cost us a win and the Saints couldn’t cover the 5.5-point spread against the Chiefs on Monday Night.
The going has been tough the last two weeks, but we have gotten some good closing line value (CLV) in spots. The bounces just haven’t gone our way. We will keep grinding away though and do our best to identify solid plays. Now, let’s get to the action.

Dallas Cowboys (+3) vs. Detroit Lions
The aforementioned Cowboys are coming off a surprise upset victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night (well, really Monday morning) Football. The win propelled Dallas to a 3-2 record.

This week Dallas draws a matchup with a Detroit Lions team that is fresh and coming off their bye week. Combine that with the Cowboys coming off a game that stretched into the wee hours of the morning, and Detroit will have a nice rest advantage in this game.
Detroit also owns a massive advantage on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Dallas is banged up, and they could have trouble winning off the line on both sides of the ball.
The Lions should have their way against a Cowboys team coming off an emotional come-from-behind win and is on short rest. Expect a Detroit victory as they try to keep pace with the division-leading Minnesota Vikings.
Pick: Lions -3 (-112) DraftKings Sportsbook

Green Bay (-5) vs. Arizona Cardinals
Arizona is fresh off a thrilling upset win over the division rival San Francisco 49ers. The victory moved the club to 2-3 and are just a game behind the division-leading Seattle Seahawks. They now travel to Green Bay to take on a Packers team that is coming off their own victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
The Packers rank higher than the Cardinals in team, offensive, and defensive DVOA per FTN Fantasy. They should be able to take advantage of an Arizona secondary that ranks 29th in defensive passing DVOA and 30th in PFF’s passing grade.
I’m not gonna lie…
I have a lot of blind confidence in Jordan Love.
If the Packers are trailing at the half, I just think, “Doesn’t matter, Love will figure it out and they’ll be fine.”
He’s so calm. He’s quietly gifted.
I just think he’s a legit superstar. pic.twitter.com/ChHm7VqZN6

It’s a good spot to fade Arizona as they’re coming off an emotional, surprise victory over the 49ers and back the Packers as they look to keep up with the other teams in the suddenly competitive NFC North.
